I'm doing The 36 Hole Challenge for Dementia UK at Kings Acre Golf Course Lasswade on August 15th
Earlier this year, I lost my mum to dementia. Watching someone you love slowly fade away to such a cruel illness is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone. Dementia doesn’t just take memories - it takes personalities, independence, and the moments you thought you’d have for years to come. It’s a truly devastating disease that robs families of the people they love, often for far too long before they are gone.
In my mum's memory, I want to do something positive to help others facing the same heartbreaking journey. That’s why my brothers, close friends and I are taking on a 36-hole golf challenge to raise money for Dementia UK. We will be playing 2 rounds at Kings Acre Golf Course on Sat 15th August.
If you’re able to support us, even with a few pounds, we would be so grateful.
Thank you for helping us honour our mum and make a difference!

Dementia UK Charity Golf Fundraiser Update
Tuesday 21st JulWe’re delighted to share a fundraising update from our Dementia UK 36-Hole Golf Challenge.
Thanks to the incredible generosity and support of our family, friends, colleagues, and supporters, our initial fundraising target of £500 was reached in just four days. Not long after, we achieved our second milestone of £1,000, exceeding expectations once again.
Even more amazingly, we are currently ranked number one for donations on the Dementia UK 36-Hole Challenge fundraising website.
A huge thank you to everyone who has donated, shared our page, and supported the challenge so far. Your kindness and generosity will help Dementia UK continue providing vital support and specialist care for families affected by dementia.
There’s still time to donate and help us raise even more for this fantastic cause. Every contribution makes a difference.
Thank you for helping us make such a positive impact. 💙🏌️♂️⛳
