Workplace Challenge: 10,000 Steps a Day in June

I'm doing 10,000 steps a day in June

I’m doing 10,000 steps a day in June and raising funds so that families affected by dementia get the specialist help and advice they need. I would be grateful for your support.

An £8 donation can cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Thank you!

Stepping up for Dementia

Tuesday 20th May
This June,  I’m lacing up my trainers (and dragging my incredible team along with me!) for a cause that’s close to so many hearts – the Dementia UK 10,000 Steps a Day Challenge.
Every day, we’re walking 10,000 steps – rain, shine, and everything in between – to raise funds and awareness for families affected by dementia. At The Princess Grace Hospital, we see first-hand how dementia impacts lives, and we know just how vital the work of Dementia UK’s Admiral Nurses truly is.
Why 10,000 steps?Because small steps can lead to big change. Each step we take is a reminder of the journey that so many individuals and families walk every day – often in confusion, stress, and heartache. We’re stepping in solidarity, with love, and with purpose.
We’d love your support.
If you can, please sponsor us. Every donation – big or small – helps Dementia UK provide life-changing support.
