I'm walking 62 Miles in October for Dementia UK

This October, I'm walking 62 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

As some of you may know, Mother Bills is struggling with this terrible disease. She’s an absolute legend. So brave and makes me laugh every day with her sense of humour, whilst still caring about everyone else. She’s in a care home now. Obviously, she has good and bad days, but in general, she’s in a good place, and most of all, she’s safe. She has met some lovely people and interacts in the activities, which is great for her. The staff are fantastic with her and the other residents too❤️ Anyways… This is a cause that means a lot to me. I’m aiming for 100 miles instead of 62. If anyone cares, you can also track my progress on Strava. Much love
