I'm taking part in Golfers vs Dementia

I’m taking part in Golfers vs Dementia and raising funds so that families affected by dementia get the specialist help and advice they need. I would be grateful for your support.

An £8 donation can cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Our challenge completed this weekend

We were a man down due to injury. Joe was with us in spirit, in a literal sense as he plied us with drinks on Saturday night:o Between the 3 of us we managed to get 21 pars and 1 birdie so an additional £26 contribution from me. It was fun!

We are all set for our challenge this weekend. We are playing Whitehill on Saturday 7th and Canons Brook Sunday 8th. Shout out to Whitehill Golf Club who have been very supportive and accommodating.

Wednesday 7th May
"Don't spoil a good walk" but I love it and although I often get angry on the course it's good for the mind.  I am trying to raise funds for a tremendous  cause and one close to my delectable friend Cass' heart.

Mates are great and I have persuaded Kane, Joe & Trev to join me in playing 2 rounds in 2 days in June.  And as an added incentive for us I will donate an extra £1 for every par and £5 for every birdie we make.  What about eagles you may ask, highly unlikely!! Ok £10.
